Integrated Cybersecurity Anomaly Management Solutions for Industrial Manufacturing Networks .
OBJECTIVE
This project provides a comprehensive solution to improve cybersecurity in systems where cyber-physical systems (IT) converge with industrial processes (OT). The project is aimed at manufacturing processes in the rubber industry (tires and rubber tubes). This sector is betting heavily on computerization in an effort to improve operational efficiency and reduce their environmental impact. However, this has led to increased exposure to cyberattacks, resulting in downtime, irreversibly damaging equipment and resulting in costly financial losses.
The solution has 3 specific objectives:
- Ability to recognize and manage assets, interfaces and industrial process data.
- Ability to detect anomalies that could result in safety incidents in industrial processes.
- Ability to manage events and alarms.
PROJECT PARTNERS
CIC is the project coordinator and counts on the collaboration of the Vicomtech Technology Center.
The end-user is BRIDGESTONE EMEIA, a regional subsidiary of the Bridgestone Corporation, a global leader in rubber-manufacturing.
FINANCING
This project is funded by the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE) through the Pre-commercial Public Procurement instrument CPP3- 2023. R&D&I services in the field of cybersecurity.
